Market stallholders should hold the relevant&appropriate insurance,it should be current ,in force and note your attendance at Hosfords.

All products should be Produced locally in West Cork or Kerry.

Stall set-up time -10am.onwards on morning of market.

Hosfords Geranium & Garden Centre are delighted to welcome Alison Arnopp (soprano) to The Blue Geranium Café on Sunday March 14th.for a Special Mothers Day Concert commencing at:2.00pm.

 Alison Arnopp is a native of Bandon and a pupil of Robert Beare for the past 10 years. She received a first class honours degree in Drama&Theatre Studies&Music from University College, Cork and was awarded the Donal”Doc” Gleeson award in performance during her time there.
Since graduating Alison has appeared in a drama series on DCTV in which she played a singer songwriter,writing and performing her own songs throughout.

This Summer Alison will be touring North America with a well known group.
She will commence a Masters in Vocal Performance at the Royal College of Music, London this coming September.

April 1st - 30th 2010 Art Exhibition

Art Exhibition by Mary Nolan O'Brien in the Blue Geranium Café

Nestling on the edge of Dromkeen Wood is Mulberry Studio. In  this creative corner Mary Nolan O Brien brings alive on canvas scenes from the Bandon and Innishannon Valley. Her inspiration is drawn from a rural landscape, close to nature, which together weave a magic that mesmerises the viewer.

But her palette stretches much further afield, including scenic views from around the country, Canadian Rockies and Lake Louise.   Working in oils, water colours and pastel, she puts wings beneath dreams.

Also on display in her woodland studio are originals and prints of beautiful sunsets and bluebells woods.  Limited editions of wonderfully produced prints brings certain paintings into a very accessible price range  and some of these local scenes  are available in beautiful  cards to  mark a special occasion.

Over the last five years Mary had two sell out exhibitions which resulted in  many commissions for specific works in her various medium. Her wonderful range of Christmas cards delighted many recipients this year. This little  studio is a haven in an idyllic woodland setting, where many dreams have come true both for the artist and those who own have one of her delightful  paintings.

‘GARDENER’S DELIGHT’

An exhibition of original watercolour art by Susan Cobley, May 2010 at the Blue Geranium Cafe, Hosfords Garden Ctre, Bandon.

Susan began painting after coming to live with my family in West Cork, Ireland and she hopes that her interests and previous experience, and also her love of Ireland’s natural beauty and landscape will provide much inspiration for her work.

Susan is fascinated with watercolour as her chosen media. She hopes that she will continue to be further inspired and motivated to continue her original watercolour art by the beautiful countryside and surroundings of West Cork. Susan is a very keen botanist and gardener and feels that these interests combined with her love of colour provide her with much inspiration for her work.

Susan has exhibited and sold in group exhibitions in West Cork, and is looking forward to my first solo exhibition at Hosfords Garden Centre in May, 2010.
